The territory of Rodì Milici, constituted entirely by hills, is situated between the valley of the river Patrì (or Termini) that, at the same time, represents the natural and administrative border with the municipality of Castroreale. The village is situated on the western side of the Peloritan mountains and close to the contiguous mountain chain of Nebrodi. Rodì Milici adjoins with another river, the Mazzarrà river.
In addition to the official Italian language, the people in Rodì Milici speak also the Sicilian language in the flavor of Messina.
